I was commissioned to create a painting of my commissioner’s dog, her mother’s dog and her friend’s dog, which was to be a birthday present for her mother. I was given free reign of what kind of background I wanted, but my commissioner really liked the background in Agility dogs. As I really loved the idea of them being a family of dogs, which is reflected in the background with not only furniture, but also their photos. My customer ended up loving it, and I can only hope her mother loves it as well.
