This was the second image I painted after the cute wolf cub, and I felt it would be fun to paint a pet in this style. The choice fell on Purin, who I painted earlier with her cat siblings. It helped me realise that this kind of style could be used for pet commissions, as it does allow me to work with more limited colour palettes, but it also lets me broaden my style, as some people might prefer a more stylised portraits.
