As I’ve probably mentioned before, I absolutely love red pandas. They’re just these super cute and sort of cuddly looking animals. In fact I would say they look kind of like a mix of a cat and a bear, which might be one of the reasons why they’re animals which I tend to come back to time and time again.
During October 2021, I sat down and painted a lot of different animals for a project I was working on. Unfortunately, the style of these animal images didn’t quite fit the project in the end, and I ended up redoing it altogether, which let to the ABC of Endangered Animals poster. That said, I am still fond of how this red panda turned out in particular. In fact, I love this image so much that I’ve made it available as a print in my print shop.
