I am not gonna lie, snakes aren’t my thing at all, but I was happy to take on a challenge to draw one anyway. I was given the prompt ‘snake’ by one of my followers on Instagram, so I was entirely free to pick and choose what kind of snake I’d draw. After a little bit of research I found that there are some rather fun and colourful snakes out there, so my choice was easy, I had to draw a scarlet kingsnake.
I have really enjoyed taking suggestions from my followers on social media, because their suggestions have challenged me to draw animals I probably otherwise wouldn’t have drawn.
