I would not be happy with this kind of jewellery, involuntary or not, and I dare to say that none of you would either. Yet, our wildlife end up with these kinds of unwanted items regardless, be it made of single use plastic, abandoned trash, or in this case a discarded and abandoned fishing net. There are tons of videos of humans cutting animals out of nets and other waste which can maim animals for life and even kill them.
We need to be more mindful of the waste we create, as people and as larger companies. We need to be better at avoiding using single-use plastics, recycle what we get rid of, and dispose of things properly and not let them end up in nature.
