I decided to paint a portrait of Molly Burker for International Women’s day 2020. She is a YouTuber, motivational speaker and author, who also happens to be blind. She shares her experiences as a blind woman and raises awareness for accessibility and disability discrimination. But she also talks about her love for make up, clothes, and getting her hair coloured in fun colours. I admire her for being so open, bringing attention to issues we, as sighted people, do not know or think about, and in that way breaking down barriers. Please check her out on YouTube!
