Pet portraits

I have always enjoyed capturing the likeness of people, fictional characters and pets, because as part of the portrait is to see what makes that person, character or animal look like themselves. It’s getting that little bit that makes them them who they are which is the tricky and challenging bit, and the bit I am always trying to get right regardless of the subject and style I”m using.

Painting animals has always been one of the things I enjoy, and it’s always an honour when someone wants me to paint their beloved pets. Animals become such a big part of our families, ans we love them dearly. If you have a pet or two you’d like a portrait of, please feel free to to get in touch.
